Angel Guanchez
Angel GuanchezListening to this album with the Bass ON, makes a difference. It makes it the best Metallica album ever. Such a stupid move made by Lars and James those days... Jason is a great bassist.
John Fulton
John FultonThey muted the bass because it sounded better. That whole album was recorded with a boat load of treble, low mids, no bass. It is how they achieved the sound. So be it.
Jxdequebec
JxdequebecYou just made something that the metallica family needed
Mark Mawson
Mark MawsonEven the other instruments sound better
Mathew Iamele
Mathew IameleI never understood how Lars was the one who decided the bass should be inaudible on Justice, it's not like James or Kirk had a say in how the drums would sound, and why didn't Jason, James or Kirk say something about the bass being inaudible? I would've told Lars to fuck off- lol.
Matthew Henry
Matthew HenryDon't get me wrong cliff was the coolest MF on the planet and his impact on 'tallica is so important but I kinda prefer Jason's style a little more. The playing on this is so smooth. They've got to properly remix officially release this one day.
Miguel Sanchez
Miguel SanchezI don’t ever listen to the original album mix anymore
Samuel Langer
Samuel Langerwhat kind of fuckery is it put an ad after every song , bastardly behavior
Señor Marstón
Señor MarstónI can't stop listening to this version of AJFA. It's impressive af. I wish Metallica would release an official re-release of this album making real justice to Jason's bass
silverphoenix_17
silverphoenix_17I think I'm never gonna listen to the original tracks again.
Stephanie Sandlin
Stephanie SandlinNice bass. Drums still sound like shit. This is what having an amateur drummer and resident pinhead in your band gets you.
Steve Pilkington
Steve PilkingtonI think I've said this on another video about this sort of thing but here it is again I guess; with Jason's bass added back into the mix this album to me sounds like Master of Puppets the sequel. The bass makes a HUGE difference and gives this album that much needed flair that the others had. It sounds like the monster that Master was with more impact when including the bass.
Tim Peterson
Tim PetersonI really think Cliff would have approved of this version if he’d heard it. Massive Massive sound and Puppets was always my favorite with Ride the Lightning second…had they mixed Justice with bass present and better quality tone in drums, this would have absolutely taken second if not TIED with Puppets in my opinion.
Wizstorm 1
Wizstorm 1awful mix
Олег Даев
Олег ДаевThey should re-release the album as it was recorded before Lars demanded to silence the bass. This fans made issue is another proof that Jason is an outstanding musician. You can also find Flotsam and Jetsam band and listen to their debut album, Jason is awesome there
